MYSPACE, NEW SHOWS, NEW SONG, NEW MEMBER, MERCH
Yes, this site was well overdue for an update on news. Check out our myspace site for all the latest information on the band at www.myspace.com/veneficum. We now have a new demo track, "Despair Mechanism", online at the site as a preview of things to come.

There has been some changes here and we feel that they are for the better. As some of you may know, we have had drummer problems the past couple of years. Because of that, it has had a significant effect on the bands progress. Bassist/vocalist, G.Reymond will now permanently move to the drummers throne. As hard of a decision it was for him, we all knew that this was best for the band and now we can move forward. To fill the vacant vocal spot, we are pleased to announce the addition of Andras (ex-Avidost, ex-Night of Armon) to the band. Andras has been a good friend of ours and his talents exceed our expectations.

Also, we have two shows coming up in March with more on the way. Look for a big announcement soon about shows this summer. Once again, check our myspace page for details.

Enigma Prognosis T-Shirts are now available! You can place your order right from this page below.

NEW MEMBERS, ENDORSEMENTS, ETC.
We are happy to report that the mighty Mendoz has returned to his position on guitar. He is an original founding member and has already picked right up where he left off.

We are also happy to report that we have reached an endorsement deal with Madison Amplification and plan to use them on the next album.

Material for the next release is now under construction! We are hoping to have a full new album out mid-2006. More details on that will come as it develops.

WE ARE ALIVE
Just regrouping, writing new stuff, and planning. The band is now rehearsing in Orland Park when time permits and is out of Superior Street Studios. There is currently no timetable for new releases or shows as members busy schedules can be hard to predict. Hopefully there will be some positive news soon in regards to progress and the stagnation (and writer's block) will subside.

DRUMMER NEEDED... EP PREPARATION
Unfortunately, the drummer position is now vacant once again. Anyone interested in joining please send us an email. Due to these circumstances any plans for shows or tours are now put on hold until a suitable drummer is found. In the meantime new material is being put together for future releases and preparations are underway for recording a new EP this summer.

A nice review has been written on Digital Metal for "Enigma Prognosis". Check it out at :

ENIGMA PROGNOSIS RELEASE DATE
FINALLY! After over a year since the first tracks were recorded "Enigma Prognosis" is being pressed as I am writing this and will be released FEBRUARY 2ND. Internet Pre-orders will begin next week and the link will be posted here on a news update. The album will be available through both Forever Underground or the band only until US retail release through Crash Distribution in March. Complete details of the album can be found in the new discography section.

DRUMMER NEEDED!
In other news, we are continuing our search to find a permanent drummer. We plan on full tour support for the new album in the coming months and need a reliable person to fill the vacancy. Interested drummers please email us at: band@veneficum.com

FUTURE PLANS
The band will begin tour support in the spring/summer months and into the year and this summer plans to release an EP containing some cover songs (including King Diamonds "Eye Of The Witch"), some new material, an Enigma Prognosis remix, and some multimedia content (possibly a video... details on that to come). Also around that time Dysphoria will be re-released with a full remix and remastering. Bundled with that disc will be our original 3 song promo fully remastered.

NEW SITE
As you can see I have developed a new site for the band to reflect the design theme of the new album. If you would like to leave the band a message you can now just send them an email using the form on the left.

New ideas are being generated day to day so check back to see the developments!
